Tannoy TS500 sub with Ellipse 8s
Hi folks - I've got a set of Ellipse 8s.
And though they are excellent monitors, I think they are a bit lacking in low end.
I def reckon I could use a sub.

I might be able to score a relatively cheap Tannoy TS500 which is generally used with a Tannoy home theatre system.
Question is, would this be a decent addition to my set up?
I'd love to get a proper Tannoy sub that's meant to go with my Ellipse pair, but the cost is prohibitive.
So - any thoughts on this?
Plus - will it be easy enough to work out crossover for this kind of set up, if I decide to go with it?

From some research - it looks like the TS500 has a 12" woofer.
Other people on here seem to have had reasonable results with a ts10, which uses a smaller 10" - so will this work even better?
