Help please, audio interface dilemma

Right now, I've got 2 audio interfaces:

1. Focusrite Saffire PRO 14.
2. Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6.

I'm keeping one, selling the other. Firewire or USB, it doesn't matter. One day I seem to favor the NI KA6 based on looks, size, convenience, but the next day I favor the specs from the Saffire that seem better...

What do you guys think? Which of the interfaces should I keep and why?

Which one do you like better, and why?

The answer to this question is the right answer

Any decision about this matter?

I`m facing a similar dilemma. I don't know which of these two I should get.

At one side, Focusrite with it's renowed pres and quality but a con is that i's only Firewire. Now I have a MBP with FW but what if in the future I get a new Mac with no FW. I might loose the bus-power feature.

At the other side, KA6, everything I need about ins/outs, USB so no problem with future connectivity but the cons is no standalone mode and not too much routing options.

Any clues?

Apple sells a $29 Thunderbolt-to-Firewire cable that passes the 7w in iMacs, etc.

Actually, i'm afraid that the power is not enough to supply bus-power to the Saffire. I made a thread to build a database of interfaces that work bus-powered over the TB adapter.

Feature-wise, the Saffire is a superior product compared to the KA6, but the bus power is a feature that i'm not willing to give away.
