URGENT AT2035 or AT2050!

Ok so I searched but I couldn't find an answer to my question. I live in India and after a lot of research I have finalized on the AT2035 or AT2050. I am in a dilemma because reviews and specs say that the 2035 is more sensitive than the 2050 but the latter has switchable polar patterns. I am quite a n00b and would love to decide between these. I DO NOT want suggestions for alternatives to these two mics. I just need your help choosing btw these 2.
I will primarily be using this for acoustic guitars and male & female vocals, so is the sensitivity more important than the switchable polar patterns?

IMPORTANT: Surprisingly the AT2050 is somehow almost $12 cheaper than the AT2035 because of an offer on the website that I'm going to ordering off.

Finally, this is real urgent as I need to order right away so any quick help would be much appreciated.

Are you recorded in a treated room, or just any old room? The switchable polar patterns could make a mess in an untreated room (omni in particular). I don't think the mics are really that different, so you could go for the 2050 and just use it set to Cardioid. I don't think you'll lose any significant sensitivity.

If they're at all like their higher end cousins ( 3035 and 4050 ), the 2050 will be better on acoustic guitar. I personally prefer the 3035 on vocals over the 4050, but you can't have everything. I'd go for the 2050. It will be useful for more of what you're planning on, including duet or small ensemble vocals using figure 8 or omni.

Not a treated room, but its got very low echo and is pretty much sound proof. I get really clean, clear vocals with my SM58, with the gain up pretty high. I know that a LDC is a completely different beast from a dynamic SM58 so I guess I'll only know once I get it.

Hey thanks for the info. This is my first condenser, which is a good thing cause I have nothing to compared it to!
