Hardware Compressor on a Keyboard
Hello all!

2 questions:

I'm using a dbx266xs compressor. Can I run the unbalanced output of a keyboard/synth directly into the 266xs on the way to the mixer?
I read the manual and it says - "266xs INPUT jacks accept either balanced or unbalanced signals"
Is this a normal/sensible thing to do if I want to compress the signal from the keyboard player?

Secondly,
I'm using a Behringer DI800.
Can I split the output of the DI through an ART Splitcom Pro?
I want to send the mic level output of the DI in two directions.
Is this a practical way of splitting the output of a DI?

Just reassure me! I can't see a problem yet.

yeah just do it. i doubt it will blow up on you.
