Choosing a controller w/ 6+ knobs and faders

I'm looking for a midi controller that has 6 knobs and 6 levels that can be custom assigned in Ableton.

Ideally, I would love something like the Novation ZeRO SL MkII , but it is no where near worth $300:

Is there any low-end product on the market close to this? The only thing I could find was the Kork nanoKONTROL2:

but I've heard those things just fall apart.

Is there anything that is good that is inbetween, or that you guys recommend? I've had my eye on a used MPD24/MDP26/MPD32 but have no use for the drumpad so wondering if I could get something cheaper without it.

Thanks!

If your going to get a control surface with faders, You will be sorry if you do not get something with motorized faders. If you do not get motorized faders, it can be a nightmare when opening projects, as the faders will not jump into position automatically.

Do yourself a huge favor and save yourself allot of headaches and aggravation, Get motorized faders with what ever control surface you decide to get.

You should take Behirnger BCF-2000 as an option. Motorized faders, low price. Check for reviews. I have one myself and It´s worth the money. Good luck
