Tascam US-122mkII or Focusrite Scarlett 2i2?

Tascam is cheaper and has more options, however, the Focusrite is meant to be amazing.

ive used one before, terrible to work on a pc, always had driver issues with it, solid on the mac tho, so maybe think about that too depending on what OS you have.

sound wise, i cant say ne er using the focusrite, but if i had to pick between the two. id go focusrite, knowing how much of a pain the tascam can be on a pc, (if that counts) know someone who had one die on them too. and focusrite have very solid driver performance and ive read good things bout the us122.

Don't but the tascam, all I have had is problems. But I also have the focus rite 18i6 and its a beaut. The smaller one is said to be a wonderful piece of starter gear and with focus-rite that's usually the case!

Avoid Tascam. Focusrites have great conversion but the Scarletts were having driver issues. Not sure of they fixed that yet.
