good and bad reference tracks for monitor shootout

For my next monitor shootout I am planning to compile a kind of test CD. Different song cutouts should help to reveal certain strenth or weakness of different monitors.

I am looking for examples of commonly agreed good and - even more important - bad "reference" tracks. The music itself doesn't matter, I'm more interested from the technical point of view.

- different genres: classical, rock/metal, pop/dance etc
- with respect to mixing or mastering
- including some description e.g. at what position of the track a certain problem should become obvious.
- e.g. bad use of compression, clipping, distortion, reverb, level balance of certain frequency ranges, vocals (sss) etc

A good monitor should reveal these problems and not hide behind a nice sound.

In case there is information already available in the internet, any link is highly appreciated.

Thanks for your inputs thumbsup

You're looking at test music in the wrong way. You need music that YOU know how it should sound. Something you're intimately familiar with. I have some songs that sound like crap, but I look for how the bgv's stand in the monitors. I also have some songs with a nice deep LF rumble to see how low the monitors go so I know what to expect when using them in the studio. Other people's preferences are that, music they've know for years and know how they should translate.
My recommendations are to choose some music you know very well
