what's the best VI

posted this somewhere else. got no replies...

what is the best drum VI as far as SOUNDING real. i watched a demo for studio drummer and noticed that they had 3 hits for each drum with different velocities that it would cycle through so that it sounded human. so which would you guys buy between
addictive drums
superior drummer
studio drummer
EZ drummer
or any other good ones that didn't mention

You might get better a better response somewhere like KVR where VI's are the primary focus of the forum.

Having said that (and owning EZ drummer, Superior drummer and Addictive drums) Addictive drums smokes everything. There are times when I am convinced it sounds like a real drummer. It's great for the funk and breaks style stuff that I do. Download the demo and try it out. Same goes for al of them, I'm pretty sure they all have demo periods for you to try.

I've used BFD- that's pretty good too.

A friendly note- the subject of this is fairly cryptic. Maybe try a better title for more responses? ie "Best acoustic drum plugins" or similar? I don't know where you posted- I know you can get a few snide replies in the Electronic Music section at the moment, but that might be a good place to look too.
