tc electronic konnekt 8 or focusrite saffire pro 24?

i don't have any experience with the konnect but I do have a focusrite saffire 24 and it gets the job done. The pres are really quite good and the drivers have been extra stable (running on OSX). There's a lot of flexibility and features.

i run konnekt 6 and its been the best interface i have had. i do no recording all ITB.

Hmmm..... what're you using ADAT for? I see though that the Pro24 has only one headphone input. I like that the Konnekt 8 lets you monitor with or without speakers on

ADAT is for another eight channel preamp interface. If you look at back of SAffire 24, there is six (!) independent outups, so with this setup you can monitor in every possible way

Hmm hard choice i've owned the Konnekt 6(Not 8 But same Family) and the Saffire Pro 24. Both have good points and bad points. The saffire has great preamps for the price range and decent ad da and comes with good software,but the latency on it is kinda high. For the Konnekt they have very good ad da it sounded very good for the price and the preamps were very good also,Big But coming lol the drivers for it were horrible. I had sample rate issues and dropout issues.

I say do your research and make the decision best for your needs,only you can do that my friend.

If TC Electronics fixed their driver problems they would have some of the best gear for the prices they sell at i think !!!
