Thread Starter | 24 ch input switch to re-record through analog mixer?
I want to make a massive 16 ch switch box to toggle between the MIC inputs an the TRS Outputs of the DAW so i can EQ and mix on the same analog console right after recording, then re-record the mix. Basically the same input strip would be used for recording and playback of the same track. I am using the A&HGL 2200, it has seperate inputs for MIC and line switchable by the pad. I could use pad to switch each channel, but must often I use the pad while recording and the Line input overrides the mic so a pre-input switch seems like the best Idea. Has anyone heard of this being done? Are there some possible limitations I have not thought of? Thanks |
