Patch Bay Insert normalization Tascam M2600

Hi guys,

I have a Tascam m2600 MKII in my living room/studio. I am trying to cable up a bunch of racks to it with outboard gear. I have the typical cheap 1/4 inch TRS patch bays. That support normal/denormalled operation via rotating the modules in the patch bay.

What type of normalization do I need for the inserts ? what type do I need for the Aux send/ Returns ?

Thiis task seems to mess me up far more than it should I have finally taken the time to do fastidious cabling and routing/tying down of cables and I don't wish to do it another three times.

Thanks in advance.

Normal the inserts. You can also normal any outboard gear that goes in the same chain often to flow automatically, but be sure you don't normal an input and an output of the same device, It won't like you. Also, typically it's best to have outputs on the top row of a bay and inputs on the bottom.
