Thread Starter | CAD M179 vs T.Bone SC1100 (original sE z3300)? Hey there, I was wondering if you guys would be able to help me out with a dilemma I'm having? I can import the CAD M179 into the UK from here: CAD M179 Dual Diaphragm Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone at FrontEndAudio.com or I can purchase the t.bone sc1100 (which is the original sE z3300 aka feilo z3300) THE T.BONE SC1100 - Thomann UK Cyberstore Which one would you guys go for? .... I'm recording multiple types of instruments and also recording vocals. Any help / advice on these mics or alternatives would be much appreciated! ![]() Thanks. |

I'd probably go with the CAD. I've got quite a few T.Bone mics, and in my experience the SDCs tend to be a LOT better sounding than their LDCs. I've only ever used the CADs once, and briefly at that, but all the sound samples I've heard have been pretty impressive and I don't think I've ever seen a bad word said about them
