Manx Super Jay or Martin Lueders PG8X?

Yep...can't decide between the two of them in my quest to find a VSTi that emulates a JX-8P.

Heard them both, love them both...IMO the Manx Super Jay has the edge.
Only one can make it to the .dll folder - care to share your opinions on them?

PG8x is by far the closest out of the two. I played my jx8p side by side and there was little difference. If anything the plugin sounded better because the chorus is smoother and less noisey, however the real thing does seem to have a bit more low end although I haven't really had any patches to compare with. I did try the other plugin (Manx) though and thought it was good but didn't realise it was trying to emulate the jx8p, thought it was more on the MKs80 tip.

Damn, you're right. I haven't touched both those babies in years...I certainly muddled them in the memory bank!

Sod it, they're both coming home with me...
