connecting Focusrite Isa One Digital to Pro 24 DSP

So it sort of amazes me that Focusrite's audio interfaces don't have a toslink or whatever else sort of digital input that connects directly with their Isa One preamp. I found a convoluted thread kind of pertaining this, where some one suggested going toslink out to a digital format converter into the spdif of the pro 24 dsp.

But would an AES to SPDIF cable work as well?

edit: Am I really that dumb?: ADAT out of Isa One into ADAT in of pro 24/40? Didn't realize isa one had ADAT because it looks identical to toslink.

also to anyone who cares, I figured the spdif thing out by reading the manual. the breakout cable is for both spdif and aes.

In other words, it's the pilot not the plane?! I'm more surprised the Isa one doesn't have coax spdif, since that's generally regarded as being more "pro" than optical - since its essentially Aes format on unbalanced connections.
