Not into the standard fair, looking for a long table 5'+ flat w/legs on casters - almost like a make / project table - any ideas?

We're thinking IKEA but we don't see anything w/casters.

You can buy casters at Home Depot, and put them on yourself. If you see something that will work otherwise, I say grab it up.

Good luck,
john

We had a 6'x3' (est.) hardwood slab on 4" round diameter aluminum legs w/casters just can't remember the brand... can't believe we sold it. It was like a artist / designer table - lots of real estate and easy to position.

Start hitting the thrift stores, and craigslist...even the free ads. Freecycle?

There's something out there.

I ended up putting my console(s) on a Law office conference table, and put casters on it. It was supposed to be on it's stand, but I wanted to consolidate all my stuff on one space. It was super long and kinda perfect, about 10ft long or so. I took apart my omnirax thing, and used parts of it and have my DDA on it, with a couple of 12 channel sidecars on either side.

There are photos on my site, but the setup is different now, and I have slacked and not updated my site since freaking 2005

I bought it when the place closed up for $200 or something.
Real cherry, probably about a grand or more new, so I jumped at it.

Just saying there are many deals and free stuff out there. If you need something in a hurry, well, I guess you make do.

Good luck,
john
