EMG 808's, SD Blackout's or Dimarzio D'activators

As we all know the main factor to a good sound is a good instrument, so I got a Schecter 8 string with EMG's..

Truly muddy overly hot and not nice to the ears.

So there are other options, EMG 808X's (Supposed to be a lot better) Seymour Duncan Blackouts and Dimarzio D'activators..

What do you think to the above and what are your favourite PUP's?
