well it's thomann's own brand so you gotta get it from them innit... thomann will sell to the USA i think - email studio@thomann.de for an english speaking operative... I got one, and it's a nice mic

This is an incredible Microphone. Have a look at this review. Very informative.

looks very similar to that standard nady/apex 460 mic to me - just painted and with a thomann badge - can anybody confirm ? - internal pics here:

You'll find all those chinese mics come from a couple of factories so you should be able to find the same mic in the US, probably cheaper too !

This microphone of which I own 2 is exactly the same microphone as the SE Electronics SE5500 and the Feilo 5500. This and the T-Bone SC1100 of which I also have two of were designed by two Neumann engineers after being fired by Sennheiser when they bought out Neumann over ten years ago. These are incredible microphones and in my opinion are as good or better than the Neumann line of microphones. It is not exactly the same as the Apex as the Apex is multi pattern. Thomann has incredible quality control as does Feilo who are the original manufacturers of the above microphones. Oh by the way I am selling my Rode's microphone....

Hi! I´m going to buy two of the SC 1100 `s later on.
My main vocal / VO mic rigth now is GA project TC-1 tube mic being
modified with Peluso & Cinemag.

Looks like an SE 5500 aka T-Bone SCT 800 aka Feilo 5500 to me....or perhaps the 5700..Bet it is made by Feilo China!

It`s an Alctron HSGT-2A as far as I know. With 9 polar patterns and pad & hp filter, decent as is but with modifications should rival some "real" mics.
The pic. is without any changes.
