Acoustic foam around the mic/mic stand

anyone use this technique??? how effective do you think it is against recording in bad acoustic environments

hey

it should work auralex make a mic kit for this stuff.... If u don't like auralex because of the cost be sure to ge open cell foam with a nrc rating.
