Quick SM57 Question
Just picked up my first SM57 to use manly on snare. I find it a bit livelier than the Audix i5. Anyway, is the screen and grill supposed to rotate freely or does it lock in somehow? Thx!

All the grills on the SM 57 microphones rotate. They're held on the body by a retaining ring which is accountable for the action.
A store near me was having a sale a couple of weeks ago and I just bought three more SM57s.
