RME ADI-2 vs. RME Fireface

I will soon be in the market for AD/DA. I have been looking into the ADI-2 because the FF800 is just much more than I would ever need.

HOWEVER, with the announcement for the Fireface 400 ( http://www.rme-audio.com/english/firewire/ff400.htm ) , I will now be considering it.

Are the converters in the ADI-2 the same as in the FF800??

Have any of you guys ran comparisons? Thank you.

The information I've got is that the Firefaces and ADI both include the latest conversion technology and so there should not be a difference. Follow up with an email to the RME customer service to be on the safe side!?

For the price I think the FF800 is pretty hard to beat. It's only a matter of time before you're using every in/out available on it!
