emu orbit v2/proteus 2000 rom swapping

does anyone know whether you can remove an original emu orbit v1 or V2 rom and fit it and get it to work in a proteus 2000, and vice versa take an another emu rom (eg x lead, turbo phatt, sounds of the ZR, world expedition) and fit it into the orbit to work?

someone on ebay was selling an orbit recently with the composer rom fitted it into it and thats what gave me the idea to ask. btw I asked the seller and he seemed to think it would but he wasnt 100% convincing me. Emu have changed now and cant be contacted over older hardware
