Behringer v-verb 2496 or secondhand Art pro vla II. Or BCF-2000 / BCR -2000 or... There's plenty, but they are all their own animals.

Oktava MK-012 3 capsule set. The cardiod on acoustic guitar gives such a beautifully bright tone, you would call it too bright by itself but it saved a mix of mine. The omni I tried as a room mic and although not perfect it definitely helped add some good depth (I guess any room mic will do this, but I had decent success). I recently used the hypercardiod for a Vox Ac Box rip off whilst doing some alternative stuff, and it gave a great tone for a general rhythm guitar, but really failed when capturing a distorted tone. All in all a great mix on the right stuff. I want to get a second and try them as overheads. |

Nady TCM 1100 from a few years back. Just love it. Plus you can mod it out should you feel the urge. I think it's just fine, myself. |

I'm a pretty big 166A/166XL fan. I got the 166A used for $100 and use it all the time.

Yamaha M406 rack mixer. Super easy to convert to 6 channels of transformer-input fat tone preamps. I bought one for $40, another for $75. A little different from the PM1000, but has a nice 70's FM radio tone that works great on a lot of sources! Oh, and Reaper, nice bit of software...
