Behringer v-verb 2496 or secondhand Art pro vla II. Or BCF-2000 / BCR -2000 or...

There's plenty, but they are all their own animals.

Oktava MK-012 3 capsule set.

The cardiod on acoustic guitar gives such a beautifully bright tone, you would call it too bright by itself but it saved a mix of mine.

The omni I tried as a room mic and although not perfect it definitely helped add some good depth (I guess any room mic will do this, but I had decent success).

I recently used the hypercardiod for a Vox Ac Box rip off whilst doing some alternative stuff, and it gave a great tone for a general rhythm guitar, but really failed when capturing a distorted tone.

All in all a great mix on the right stuff. I want to get a second and try them as overheads.

Nady TCM 1100 from a few years back.

Just love it. Plus you can mod it out should you feel the urge. I think it's just fine, myself.

If this question was favourite piece of gear under $50 the naiant mini (X-S?) omni would win for me, a great dark(ish) omni mic that has helped me out a ton of times for room sounds

I'm a pretty big 166A/166XL fan. I got the 166A used for $100 and use it all the time.

Yamaha M406 rack mixer. Super easy to convert to 6 channels of transformer-input fat tone preamps. I bought one for $40, another for $75. A little different from the PM1000, but has a nice 70's FM radio tone that works great on a lot of sources!

Oh, and Reaper, nice bit of software...

Recent

Tannoy PBM 6.5 - Love these, and for $75, I didn't think twice

Crown D-40 Amp - Almost impossible to get a hold of

Audio Arts 4100 Parametric Eq

DBX 163

Ultrasone HFI-650 Headphones

Electro Voice 635A

An Equation "Snare Drum" mic I got for $10

A 5-string banjo I got on craigslist for $40

oh, and a new sound card (Audiophile 192) for $123 to replace my awful Mbox2. That was actually my best purchase of them all

Here's mine:

Alesis monitor one MKII with matching amp (£110 second hand)

Echo layla 3G (£130 second hand)

LR Baggs M1 active (£110 new)

Kala KA-B baritone ukulele (£80 new)

Trace elliot supertramp twin valve combo (one of the best guitar amps I've used, sounds lovely and really suits my tone - £120 used)

All my guitar pedals (most between £30-100) - Boss CS-2, Boss DS-2, Boss Blues drive, Holy Grail reverb, digitech whammy, jimi hendrix crybaby, boss CE-2 (or 3, can't remember), GLX DS-100 (bought for £5!), digitech grunge, korg pitchblack (great pedal tuner)

There's more but those are some of my faves
