Talking Advice needed on monitors

Hey guys,

So ive been looking into just gettin some entry level, but a good bang for the buck monitors. If any one has any suggestions fell free, that would be greatly apprecitated.....Stephen

go with the behringer truth monitors... you can get em real cheap and they sound great, plus they are self powered... definitely a great bang for the buck.

Somedays ago i posted asking about the RP5. Is the RP5 better than Alesis M1 Mk2? It the RP8 worth the extra price (when compared to the RP5) ?

RP5 wins hands down. About the price difference, it depents where you live. In here single unit RP5 costs 209e and RP8 366e!! So I thought the extra low end wasn't worth it.

Another vote for the RP5, when people come by to shoot out monitors on a low budget that's what leaves with them most of the time.

Monitoring in a recording studio.

I'd definately add a sub too. very important to gauge the low end. I use KRK V88 with SUB. The most important thing about monitoring in the recording studio for me is calibrating the loudness. In time, your ears will get use to anything you get, so not to worry. But great monitoring is absolutely vital for the mixing process. Peace.
