Thread Starter | 7 pin replacement cable for tube mic????
I have a few tube mic's... mxl V77 & Cad m9. As of late my V77 has terrible crackling sounds that are better or worse by tweaking the cable. I am pretty sure its the cable... but i can't find a 7 pin replacement cable anywhere. Does anyone have a suggestion of where to find one? I would use the Cad M9 7 pin, but its very long and seems custom for its own pre. maybe someone could tell me if it would be ok to use the same cord? |

alot of tube mics seem to use proprietary cable/pin systems...you might do better off trying to contact MXL as a starting point.
