analog recording advice

Would it be possible to run 4 Revox B77 MKII 15ips (1/4 " tape) (or any similar spec machines) simultaniously into a digital desk/lap top set up and create the equivalent to a 1" eight track?

Seems 1" eight track is almost impossible to find in UK

any advice/theories be welcome

thanks. . .

Possible, sure. You will have a lot of fun for the rest of the recording session trying to get the four machines to run in perfect synch.
