Thread Starter | Will moving to low-end theory cost OTB improve my sound?
My setup right now is entirely in the box, using 100% softsynths and plugins for everything. I use the waves renn bundle for EQ and compression, and a few softsynths for most everything. I'm really curious as to whether it would be worth it buying some of the gear mentioned in here for mixing tasks -- compressors, a channel stip EQ, maybe even an analog filter. I'd be using these on softsynths, and softsamplers, routing them through Cubase SX. Could anyone offer some advice or stories about what I'm considering? |
