Mic Locker advice for Project Studio

I am a small project studio with the following mic locker:

1 x Audix D 6
1 x Audix i5
2 x White MD451
1 x Black MD421
1 x vintage MD21
3 x Vintage AKG C451
1 x Blue Kiwi (the good ones)
2 x Brauner Phantom C

I now tried some of Wes Dooleys creations which absolutely amazed me. I'm facing the following decision:

2 x R84
1 x R88
1 x R84 + 1 x R92

Any other suggestions?

Which filled the need and sounded better in your room on your sources, the R88, R84 or R92?

I'd go with whichever one you answer with and not worry about our opinions if you've actually been able to hear them yourself.

I used the R92 in front of a drumkit and it sounded amazing. The R84 were used on violin and double bass with equally magnificent results.

My question is more whether it makes sense to buy a stereo pair as opposed to two different colors.

OK, now I understand. Well that concern pretty much would knock the R88 out of the race for me. I'd say get one of each since you appreciate the qualities of each, also sounds like you're enjoying them more on single / mono recorded sources too?
