Studio Furniture/desk ?

I am looking for some type of desk,...studio furniture.
I'd like to be able to fit two monitors, 2 speakers, control surface, computer, computer keyboard and mouse,...

Anything of quality out there that isn't too expensive?
What do you use?

Thanks

Sounds like the Omnirax Presto would fit your needs? I own a Synergy 600 and it's great, but we use a Presto on our showroom floor and it's a good little desk. The two monitors might be the deal breaker though, measure them and check the specs on the Omnirax site and see if your stuff will fit.

Oddly enough, I have been using a slant top antique writing desk as well.

My speakers are on monitor stands that I built based on JoRillo's design in the acoustics forum.

If your computer monitors have the standard mounting holes on the back, it wouldn't be difficult to put them on a separate stand, too.

Raxxess is another choice.

I just want to warn you about two things.... audio monitors are better placed on stands rather than on a shelf. Cheap particle board furniture is prone to resonate. If you do look at something like Sauder, Ikea, etc, look for something substantial, with some weight to it.

If you get a corner desk, you'll feel like a king!
I fit my mixing desk, MIDI keyboard, studio monitors, monitor, keyboard and mouse on...
Oh... And about a million cups that have accumulated from the vast amount of tea (not really safe near audio equipment, I know).

Very hilarious
I joined GS in 2005 and talked about my very first desk design back then.

You can build my newest desk (design) for about $50 and paint it white or whatever color you like!
(Iknow, I know. Post is from 2005. )
