Anyone got any experience of Eden Nemesis bass amps?

Dunno where to post this one.

My bandmate recently bought a new Eden Nemesis nc210 bass combo, and I would recommend it to anyone! The filters are very sweet and the amp overall is very responsive and dynamic. Love the gain - it goes from creamy hifi to roaring rock... quite cool. And it sure got enough power to move some air.

...But, I was curious about the heating the amp generates, the backplate seem to get really, really hot after a while - it never sounds bad or restrained, or shuts down for that part, but the built in cooling fan never seems to start (it is supposed to be heat-controlled).

I know this ain´t a bass forum - but I´m no bassist!
Just a bit curious.. any thoughts - or experiences.

I borrowed one for a rehearsal with a nu-metal band once.

Never again.

No headroom, the thing had about as much dynamic range as an old Peavey. Just kept crapping out on loud and/or low notes. Could barely keep up with an un-miked drummer and a guitar player using a 30 watt Marshall ValveState combo.

How Eden's name got associated with that toy I'll never know.

A guy that I've been playing for recently has one of those....blech is all I have to say.
I load up my real Eden rig for rehersals instead of using his Nemisis he has at the pratice space.....

Sorry can't help you with the cooling fan question, I don't think the one I've played through even had a fan.
