If the shelf from the Stand is bigger Then the Speaker Yess..
If the Stand give,s enough stabilty for the room you work in Yes..

i only doubt the second cuz it looks like your monitors will be standing on 3 small pins =/.
You can buy those and crack off the pins so the bottom off your Stands have full contact with the ground wich means more stability.

the pins are removeable - I can't seem to find a sturdy looking stand with a top plat big enough to adam a7's always looks like it's going to hang off somewhere

does anyone have some reccomendations?

Hmmmm i Realy cant find proper stands on Amazon-ebay (UK)
nor at 2 big german store,s thomann and musicstore....so these stands you actually introduced are pretty large and are able to Fully support the Adam,s.The Width and depth off the adam is 180 by 280 and the Speaker stand shelf is 290 by 290 so the shelf might stick out 5 mm on each side...(frot and back).I do strongly suggest to make these stands have full contact to the ground to ensure stabilty ( as i read removable spike,s) so yeah id go with these they are fine.

If you haven't bought already you might want to do some more shopping around, because digital village and dolphin have plenty of different stands. I would recommend adjustable ones just in case you get odd added frequencies from your room at a certain height (like half way up), so a little extra flexability could be a life saver, so long as they're a quality build.

And if you do have problems with the stands not being wide enough, you could just add a piece of plywood to the stand, then isolate the speakers from the ply with some auralex monitor foam or something similar. Sounds like a hassle and there might be an easier way round but it would be worth an extra £20 to protect £700 worth of speakers.
