Thread Starter | MPC - Matching Bar length to recording time
Hey all When recording my pad playing into the mpc, i am always constrained to the bar length. I play rather free rhythms, which often don't align at all with the bar length. Using the tap tempo button doesn't help me much, I have difficulty to think in quarters with many of my beats. What I'm looking for is a function which starts recording when I hit the record button and stops recording when I hit the record button a second time. The time inbetween the button press is simply the length of the bar, so the tempo gets adjusted accordingly. Hope somebody understands what I'm after... Do any of the alternative OS's out there offer a function like this? |
