Thread Starter | Tascam DA78HR Good Converters?
Hi, just wanted to make a post of what I think are very good converters in an older unit. I don't actually record that much with my Tascam DA78HR recorder but I do use the converters in the unit over going into my Yamaha 01V96 board. What I do is go in the Tascam through the analog DSUB cable and out into the Yamaha through TDIF and then out to an RME Hammerfall HDSP 96/52 audio card via ADAT. Works great. Maybe not as smooth as my Apogee Rosetta 200 but very nice in compared going through the A/D in my Yamaha board. I think this is a good use for an older unit. Any one else using your old DA78HR this way? -Gary |
