i need it for bass overheads and vocals, my setup would be SM57/KSM27/Beta52>compressor>firepod>PC i assume thats how it goes. If theres something better for the same price range thats rack mountable let me know |

the 166xl is a live compressor. either record clean or get an RNC correct me if im wrong but i didnt think the firepod had inserts anyway |

I liked the 166a better, which you can find on Ebay usually for around $125 used. (US) Not the greatest mind you for recording, but has worked on many occasions! |
