Thread Starter | Electro-Voice Blue Raven mic ???
So i guess EV and Blue hooked up to build two new mics... the cardinal $200 and the Raven $150. The Cardinal is a condensor, the Raven is a dynamic. I am very curious about the Raven. I already have the CAD M9 for my condensor vocal mic, but to have a mic for high end belting that doesnt break up would be cool as well. the Cad is fantastic until you really crank up the voice then it gets fuzzy, even with the RNC. But really all good tube mics tend to get fuzzy. Any thoughts on the Raven? Any advice on a good dynamic mic for high end belting? I currently run the BRICK as my pre. |
