Hello - looks like you'll need a DSUB to XLR converter for balanced audio.

Does the RA100 have XLR inputs.

I have no idea how you'd route the audio from the computer to 2 channels though

You need a dsub to jack cable like

Pulse 25 Pin D-Sub Male to 8x Balanced 6.35mm Jacks 2m - D Sub from Inta Audio UK

..what i don't understand is this..
the rosetta comes out with a 8 channels output when the alesis only needs two input channels..
how does this work?
I'll be using an API3124 + neve 1073 dpa + 2 distressors + Rosetta + PC.
Now i don't understand how to go to the amplifier and what i need to have a monitor/talkback system..

Yes...... You only need 2 channels for a stereo mix.

If you running tracks through a lot of different outboard then those additional outs (and inputs) would be required.
A rosetta 800 has 8 analogue ins, 8 analogue outs and 8 digital i/o from memory and you change what goes where depending on your setup.

to run a mix to your amp and monitors you just need to use 2 analogue outs (say channels 1 and 2)

Check the user guide - there are routing options on the front panel

Anyway, I'm pretty sure you assign the outputs via your DAW - i.e. route all channels in your daw to the main outputs (i.e. 1 and 2)

I'm assuming the RA100 inputs are unbalanced - be aware that if you use balanced jacks into unbalanced inputs you'll lose 6db level
