Want to know about Firebox before buy..

Hi,

I am thinking upgrade my souncard to Firebox. I would like to know what about the
driver stability of the Firebox? Is it support ASIO only? How about MME and GSIF?
Does it support multi-client at the same time? Because I will also use it for watching
moive and listening to CD..

Also a layman question: is the SPDIF input mono or stereo?

I am using WindowsXP. Thanks.

A buddy of mine uses the firebox w/ eMac G4 and Logic Express. He really likes it.
He does not record any vocals or instruments thru it. As far as driver compatibility, i dont know about that either....

Check presonus's site, dont they say?

The Firebox is pretty cool for what it is. Good drivers, it does support multiple interfaces. It will do MME, though I don't know about GSIF. It will work with your video and CD playback and SPDIF is stereo.

Good, simple box.

Thanks guys. I just bought it.
So far the driver is stable, though it can't do ASIO and MME at the same time like
my Echo Mia..
