Thread Starter | AKG Perception 120 USB HI! 1. Does anyone have any info about this microphone? 2. How is the monitoring, the latency? 3. Is it ok to use with an onboard audio card? 4. How does the (real-time) amplifying work? | Hi, don't know too much about it than it appears to be very cheap. I think with every USB mic you have to rely on the DAW software monitoring for the monitoring purposes, so with just a onboard sound card it easily goes wrong with latency issues.. |

And I found an alternitive: Shure's got 2 microphones PG42USB, PG27USB and a XLR to USB adapter: X2U LINKS: Better Late Than Never: Shure USB Microphones | eQuixotic Shure - Microphones - PG42USB Side Address Condenser Microphone They promise Zero Latency and direct monitoring. Does anyone have any other info? Thanks |
