Joly Modded v69 (Audio)

Here is a little demo I made a few months ago when I received my MXL v69 back from Michael Joly. Don't mind all of the mistakes and the dark crappy mix! Also, I had a pretty bad cold so I sound a little nassaly. I recorded the vocals twice but the "love" harmony was only once. I don't think that I used any eq or compression. Just a tad bit of reverb. The pres are from my AKAI DPS24.

I would love to hear a modded MXL v69XM!

I've got a V69ME that I've had for years. Good mic when I want that sound, but I have been thinking about turning it into a more "proper" mic with this mod. Do you miss the high end fizz it had for certain applications? Do you have a version of this track with the non-vox tracks muted? Thanks!

I do not miss the "fizz" at all. Unfortunately, I don't have a version of this tune without the non vox tracks muted. When I get a chance, maybe I will post something else for you. If and when I do, I will PM you. Thanks for listening!
