first attempt sort of

Hi all-

I recently just finished my first complete DIY recording and mixing of an album

you can download it here:

empire polo club self-titled 2009 leak.zip

I used:

presonus firepod
sm57/58
shure drum mics
more microphones!
macbook

i recorded in a lot of different environments over the course of 7 months to get all this. tried to mix it up (no pun intended) with the setups, but really this is my first crack at getting any sorts of "good" sounds. Of course, it's unmastered, but to mix I used to headphone to car stereo to boombox method, and also mixed some tracks on Yamaha HS50M's. Recorded into Garageband, mixed in Logic Express 9.

Tried my best...

any feedback would be extremely appreciated!

thanks

-Mike
