Pro Tools tracks Blacked out???

when i say blacked out i do not mean greyed out italics like inactive - i mean properly blacked out........?

i am running HD 7.3.1

is this a bug?
when I closed and opened session they are all blue again if in the session like normal......

Maybe you ran out of track limit. How many tracks you got in the session?

not more than 128 so won't be that.

Are you sure Pro Tools found the audio files associated with those tracks? I've had it lose files occasionally, and had to re-sync it manually. The tracks were greyed out, not black as I recall.

no not that. i have seen that before but thus time everything was running as normal no problems at all. just all the tracks used in left hand mix window black and some of the groups......!!!!!

all my tracks are black!!
I've changed them using the color palette. and adjucted all the settings in prefs.
