Thread Starter | Which Sampler for....... Hey everyone, Just wanted to know which sampler I should get for what I need. I am a drummer, and want to create my own percussion loops in battery, and effect them with all different types of other plugins etc. During live performances I want to be able to play those samples on stage and have the drums play over them... What is the best sampler I can use for this?! Something easy, no need for pre-loaded sounds, will be importing sounds and loops into it. Obviously something that I can change tempos during a live performance if needed, easy and quick. Thanks! |

| Sounds like you're looking for a sequencer to me. Ableton Live seems to fit your needs perfectly. I know a pro percussion guy who uses LIVE for just this purpose. |

| Check this out SM Pro Audio V-Machine Standalone Plugin Player Module You can download a VST instrument to the memory of the device and use in lave sets. The memory is 1GB enough for EZDrummer or Battery. Very interesting device. I want to buy it to use with my Yamaha virtual drum. Cheerz!

Thread Starter | Nice, but here is the thing. The individual who will be handling everything will be the drummer. It will sit next to him so he can go between patches etc.... any recommendations with that in mind?! |
