Dynamic mics and self noise

As I was told dynamic mics have NO SELF noise, unlike condenser mics, and the only noise you are going to get from a dynamic mic is through radio/electromagnetic interference, and the pre-amp itself. Meaning that if you have a great pre-amp you basically get no noise (or almost none at all)

Am I right?

The thing is that:
1)dynamics arent nearly as sensitive as condenser hense air movment generates minute amount of output.
2)dynamics are passive devices - no electronics (a transformer is a passive element) which means there is nothing in it that has self noise.

Good point. I was kidding about the air btw

Here is my question (please click the link for the picture):

If I plug in Dynamic Mic (ex. SM7-B) into a line input, my only problem would be low levels going into the interface, and thus I would need more gain boost to generate right levels. The only problem is the pre-amp noise, correct?
