Is there any difference between an AT4050 and an AT4050/CM5?

Just wondering if there was any difference sonically, as I have seen both models on ebay.

I believe the official name is 4050/CM5 but people just call it the 4050.

I believe that CM5 was the item description for the microphone and the shock mount combination. I could be wrong, though.

Thanks. I appreciate the info. Just wanted to make sure that there was no sonic differences. There is a shop on e-bay selling them brand new in a sealed box (not Bstock, or factory reconditioned) for $399 BIN! I had one here to test out, and It is just an incredible sounding mic. It is so much better micing my guitar cab than the SM57 that I was using, that it even made my M-Audio Omni studio sound passable!

I also really love the AT4040 on acoustic guitar. I know its not the preferred small condenser, but you can almost feel the resonance of the wood when micing an acoustic with an AT4040.

Thanks again for the info folks!
