Ribbon for side in M/S

I'm wondering if any of the less expensive ribbon mics are suitable for the side mic in a mid/side setup. I know a lot of them aren't symmetrical figure 8's....

Cascade Fathead is symmetrical. It sounds pretty good, too.

I've done it, it works fine. Just watch out for the large amount of gain you'll likely need.

I use this mic as the side mic for my M/S configurations. Works well for me!
