Focusrite Saffire - any users?

Does anyone have any experience with the Focusrite Saffire?

Would you consider the converters (and drivers) an improvement over the E-mu 1820M, or is the 1820M as good as they get until you step into the Lynx/RME range?

Most importantly - how are the preamps? Are they up to Focusrite's standard, or just another generic mixer-style pre?

I've added a very short review in a thread in Music Computers.
