A/D HD interface on a budget

Firewire, USB, doesn't matter, as long as it's usabe in pro tools LE, HD or M.

The only one I've seen so far is the profire 2626 (around 600 used).

I'm currently using an Mbox2 and thinking of upgrading soon.

I would love to hear suggestions of 24./192 capable interfaces that provide atleast 8 mic inputs under $1,000 (yes, considering used ones too)

Anything is better than the Mbox2. If you have PCI bus, the Delta series is of fair converter quality, but has rock solid stability.

Otherwise, the Profire should be a good bet I'd say...

Again, its ALL better than Mbox 2...
