I've never seen you post anything vaguely contributive. It's always some less-than-witty remark usually to put down some beginner.

You must be an all knowing superhuman. I bet you have a wall full of grammies. The women, the money, the cars. I want to be you.

lou judson said ""Auto-tune is the last refuge of the incompetent musician." I heard dat! But it's also the first choice of the lame producer.

Michael Joly said " Its really ironic that while musicians today have more access to inspirational sources than ever before something like the soul-sucking blasphemy of autotune can exist - and is actually used."

I hope we can persuade more guys and gals to post snippets of their stuff recorded on their low end set-ups so that we can all get a "ball park" idea of a particular recording chain...

Some would say it means nuttin' without proper abx methodology... and one man's "warm" is another gal's "dull" but there's plenty of us on here that use various permutations of transducers, amplifiers, squish boxes and whatnot, day in day out, to provide or get a general, educated "vibe" of a piece of gear brings to a recording chain, and how the individual components interact with eachother

coolness.
Is that a cream tele with a chocolate brown pickguard in your avatar?

Now there's an idea!

Not quite - it is an extensively customized '89 Jap tele of "vintage" styling with a standard black scratch plate - When I bought it it had big fat/tall frets, and I replaced the saddles with brass compensated ones. I replaced the bridge with a Callaham which is great, I also installed Sperzel tuners and Duncan vintage style noiseless pickups, which are nice but not as vibey as the Harmonic Design pickups I had in there before
