Wow thats a great deal! I am considering this just to hook them up in my other room for listening. That is dirt cheap for such decent monitors. Or you could buy about 3 pair and sell them later on on craigslist for 100 each. |

Well it looks like I'm too late...it wouldn't let me add them to my cart. Oh well, I didn't really need them anyway.

Wow, that's below cost. When I worked for GC I got a pair of these for $150. GC gave employees gear at cost.

You could go for the Yellow 6s... they're still available. At $99 apiece, it's still a mighty good deal. Buy KRK | Powered Monitors | Musician's Friend |

Cheap but not great, I didn't like the dull sound of them. Probably just my taste... but have a listen to a pair before you buy.

The rockit line was good for the price - and they didn't cost a lot. No way you'd put them in the same class as monitors costing 5-10x... But the were useable. -tINY | |

for that low of a price they're ok but I prefer the JBL, Yamaha, and Mackie offerings in the normal price category those KRK's fall into. Of course I'm aware that none of the monitors in that category are going to blow my face off and send me to heaven. It just can't happen that quality of craftsmanship and materials just isn't going to be that cheap. But for poor folks like me they are a god send. just my two cents after using the Rockit 6's and selling them. If you must know I'm saving for the new active JBL's that just came out. but best advice when choosing monitors TRY BEFORE YOU BUY.

Thats the date I was advised my purchase of Rokit 5s would ship. I'm eager to hear an alternative to the 2 sets of passive monitors I use now - JBL 4410s and Tannoy 6.5's - both powered with a Niles amp (nice quality with details like a separate power supply for each channel). Not expecting anything breath taking with the Rokits - I'll be happy with a bit less muddiness in low mids in contrast to the Tannoys. Also realize my wife will immediately clock the bright yellow cones as a new gear purchase; maybe she'll be impressed as I was by the MF blowout price. ![]() Dave P. |

| Did you notice how many older KRK's are on the list - all available mid-august? Did someone close a warehouse or a factory somewhere? Is this the Swan-Song of KRK's inexpensive lines? -tINY |

Yeah, darn it... they got me! I just purchased the yellow b-stock rokit 6 ones for $200. That seems like a pretty sweet deal. They were just so purty! I will be good to have a duller sounding monitor beside my Event ASP8s. I wish it was known for having more forward mids though cause I feel the Events are slightly recessed in that area.
