ADK VIENNA mic, noisy ???!

Hi,
I just bought second hand vienna mic, looks great, but I am not really happy with recordings.
First thing I noticed is, mic is very noisy comparing to stock OKTAVA319 for example.
Now, is it just my mike, myself, or VIENNA ADK character ??

any thoughts ?

PS. I use ISA producerpack 430 as my pre.

female voc, room is properly treated
I used mk319 first and it was great
and ADK and it was bad....
noisy and less dynamics

maybe it's my mike and I need to contact ebay seller...:(

yup. your mic is messed up. all of my adk mics are spot on. i need to have one repaired because the capsule is shot on one, but it will be a cheap fix with the adk custom shop. otherwise, my vienna and hamburgs are pretty quite and very lively sounding mics.

same here, really great performances and really low noise levels. Must be the mic...
