Question Opinions on this porta booth for Singing

This site rules, reading tons about everything. I'm searching for specific information about how to get some good recordings of singing all different styles. I'm as newb as they get haha.

My "studio" room basically 10' by 10' with a small 3' by 3' area where the door is. There is no treatment except I have the three windows blocked by some fiberglass/drywall window plugs. The room will pretty much be used for recording vocals and everything else done with vst's and emailing back and forth with other bandmates with guitar parts..etc..Already have mics and the pre amp with maudio 24bit soundcard.

I need to know everyone's opinions about this portable booth I was reading about:
Harlan Hogan - Voice overs Narrations Commercials Promos
The total cost to make this would be around $70 with shipping and everything.

This one looks better but is $655 without shipping which I cannot afford anytime soon.
Portable Sound Booths Portable Sound Booths & Acc. at Markertek.com

I asked about this one in another old post but I'd like to find out what a cheap way would be to create something similar to this.

thanks!

Search for booth and my name. I posted a link to plans of a full size booth, showed my build and posted clips recorded inside and outside to demonstrate the difference. It costs me $100 total. Works great for vox and acoustic instruments.

Buy a cheap room divider at a home store, Bed Bath & Beyond. One of those hinged things that are about 6 ft. tall. Drape a $15 U-Haul moving blanket over it. Even pro studios use this kind of set-up on occasion.
It's a makeshift gobo.

That small Hogan thing pictured will sound real boxy.

You obviously didn't listen to the sample on that site. It rocks. However, you can build it yourself for around $20-30:
Build a $21 Portable Vocal Booth - O'Reilly Digital Media Blog
You can use cheap foam from FBM and save:
Pyramid Foam - Foam Factory Acoustics

Isn't that foam going to absorb rather than reflect, leading to a non-boxy sound ? It looks perfect for people who are in a crowded house where most of the residents maintain normal hours, and severe noise restrictions are in place.
